Sweet home sweet

Yay! I'm back! haha
Whenever im back in KL..it feels so so super duperbly awesome.
I miss the atmosphere. The city buzz. The honking, impatient drivers.
The Pavilion and the Mid Valley and err.. the KLCC too! (notice i used the, which emphasizes their importance)
Muahaha

Once a KLite, forever a KLite at heart. ^^

Will be heading back to Johor on Sunday. And today is already Saturday morning (3 a.m)...Time is way too short for me eversince i started uni at Johor...hmph..It seems to fly especially fast whenever im in KL. Is it just me or what? =/

Anyways, two weeks ago..yours truly had a blast at The Peak a.k.a Genting Highlands. lols.
And its kinda special cuz its the first time Josh came along with my family and... relatives. (=
Sure, it was awkward at first but after that..everything went according as planned.hehe.

After checking in at First World hotel, we got the passes and off we went to the outdoor theme park! *squeals*

I was so excited when i saw Spinner!
(its the ride you first see when you step into the theme park!) It has always been one of my fav rides..simply cuz it doesn't require lots of energy or effort. And the ride as a whole is really relaxing. =p
You can feel the breezy chilly air as it spins up up and away........*happy happy*

The Happy-Silly-Happy expression
;p

The teeth-baring expression. XD

This one's more like it. hehe.

Sat a few more rides before we spotted this:

The Red telephone booth ala the real thing in London ;)
Couldn't resist snapping a few pics!

Josh =D

Trapped.

I got so tired and hungry half way....after all the rides..plus the very chilly weather that i couldn't really tahan.. So we decided to take a rest first.
After the much needed rest, feeling all reenergized and revitalized..we went for Round 2.
This time in the indoor theme park. ;)

After bumping around in the bumpy bumper cars, it was time for a slow cruise around the park. (=

Rio Float.
This wasn't our float...
ours look less intimidating. haha.

A photo with my beloved sis.
(The more i look at you each day, the more i feel you've grown up pretty sista!)

Prior to Josh's mini bday celebration at midnight...
we felt like chilling over a good cuppa coffee so we headed to none other than my ex-work place---
Starbucks!
XD

Of hot chocolates and caramel macchiato.;p

Some random pics here of us..taken the next morning at a chinese stall..;)

woopsie.
The fade effect. hee.

On a totally unrelated note,
i was featured on MSN's website recently..cant remember when exactly though. hehe.

I was strolling in Pavilion with Josh that day and was suddenly approached by two gals, one carrying a camera and the other a note pad. XD
At first i thought it was another of my online boutique's customers who recognized me..(was spotted twice thus far..wonder how they could recognize me..weird huh...)
But it wasn't. haha.

They were from MSN.com and requested to take a style shot of me. LOL.
I was like, thinking, should i or should i not? What if they do something bad with my pictures...or misuse it..or it turns out to be a fraud..you get what i mean? lol.
But in the end, when they showed me proofs of their mission, if you may call it, then i said okie.

Here's the shot & the caption they wrote:

Abigail, 20, Student.Who else could one’s fashion icon be, if not for Kate Moss?Accessories, Forever 21Top, a flea market in KL.Pants, Fascinate.Gladiators, Orange Little.Orange bag, Dr. Pizzicato

All of my things were cheapies..haha. The bag was from Dr.Pizzicato itself.;p
I was so paiseh cuz almost all the stuffs i wore that day were from online boutiques!
And i had to try to remember which e-shops i bought it from. haha.

Oh and in that split second, i couldn't exactly think of who my style icon was...Don't really have a specific one actually. So the first person that popped up on my mind-- Kate Moss, and so i said Kate Moss. hahaha.

I particularly like the whole look though. Never knew i could be ''spotted''. T'was half weird, half intriguing. =P

And i remembered something interesting they mentioned. ''It's sooo hard to find fashionable ladies in Pavilion and Star Hill..Fashionable guys got plenty...but not ladies!''
I can't help but findi that statement to be rather amusing.

Do you think it's true? hmm..

Happy Birthday dearest!!

I've neglected this blog for a long time, yes. But here's one blogpost i simply cannot NOT post it up!
haha.

Looking smokin' here. haha.
Hmm..you're not quite the photogenic type as we've both come to realize, but i'd say this pic totally begs to differ!
Nice rite nice rite.heehee.

Getting ready for a good spin! haha
This shot makes him look very child-like.
awwww.

Up on Rio Float..indoor theme park. =p

Waiting for our turn to ride on Pirate Ship! haha.
Twas real fun!
My heart was having butterflies during the ride..not my stomach. Gelinye..

After midnight.
Mini celebration at Starbucks, ferris wheel adorning the photo =)
Sorry i couldn't manage to do anything big for you hun..But i hope travelling back from Johor to celebrate your bday counts for at least something. ^^
although probably not much.
(Psst. The piece of paper on his head is his entrance pass to the theme park. Goofiness. LOL)

Gotta go now..one more celebration for you tonight dearie. ;)
Blessed birthday dear~

I know Twitter has been all the rage for some time now. And im probably living in stone age or just backwards.. since i don't have one. hahaha.
Somehow the 'you-follow-me-i-follow-you' thingy hasn't quite caught up with me perhaps?

But we've all gotta admit, nothing substitutes meeting your friends in person and catching up with them face to face. Agree? ;)

It's just one of the things technology won't be able to satisfy. Ever.

*

Went out with a group of us former librarians on Wednesday (a day after returning from the awesome possum church camp at Perak!).
It was supposed to be a gathering i heard..but only 7 of us turned up. aiks. Nevertheless, we had tons of fun fellowshipping and simply catching up. =)

Its just great to know that in our midst, there's one who is on his way to becoming a chef! hehe. Yummylicious food anyone?
Go hunt Jiun Ee down. haha.

Also, many of us who will be heading to uni or completing our high school education soon. =)

My dearest fwen,Ariel and i.
A good photo lasts a loooong time.
Take that Twitter! hah. XD

Shi Hao, Vivi, Jiun Ee and yours truly.

The 7 people who made the effort.heee.
Of course we understand some couldn't make it due to circumstances or commitments..like Ern Khai who fell ill. =(
and others who had tuition classes to attend.

Really,i miss the good ole' times. Can't help saying this. Form 6 was a killer..at least for me...but the friendships that i've made makes up for all the agonizing moments i went thru. Really.

*

Fast forward..i mean backwards, to 6th -9th June 09!
Church camp at Kampar,Perak.

This was the last day already.sobs. I ended too fast!
Went around Kampar @ the sleepy town for lunch after checking out from Grand Kampar hotel where we stayed.

Darling Zoe and i!
Her expression was made on purpose. LOL.

Sis punches the one who tagged along with my family.
And i was just in time to capture this shot. hahaha.

Day 2.
Oustide Gua Tempurung.
Nice cave.
But sweaty sweaty after coming out. haha.

Oooo..chicken curry bun!
dip the bread into the curry.. that's how you eat it.
yummmms. =p

We savoured this yummy stuff at Yau Kee restaurant. The most popular one at Kampar.
*
*
*
*

Didn't manage to take much pics there but the camp was seriously awesommmeee! And we all felt it ended a lil too soon.sighs.
How i wished i could linger a lil longer in the wonderful presence of the Lord. =)
Especially the final night, the anointing service. It lasted way past 1 a.m. and i didn't even realize how time passed so quickly until i checked my watch back in the hotel room.

And i must say im so so tremendously blessed by the speakers, Ps. Cornelio Perez and his wife, Ps.Deborah. Im just....like..lost beyond words on how to describe these two lovely people.
And the revelations &visions they've shared with us, its priceless!
I will treasure it in my heart indeed.

Shall have to stop here....its late.....
Worship practise tomorrow and then off to Yaki Yaki jap buffet afterwards to celebrate Michelle Lee's bday! hehe

Farewell my friend

Finally, everyone seems to be going separate ways eversince our lives as sixth formers ended.
Hwa Lin,one of our class' brightest gem is going to MMU Malacca to further her graduate studies in Law.
What a huge change right?
Everyone..almost everyone i mean..in U6Mori,a bio class, taught we would eventually end up doing something bio-related..or science at least.
But lil did we know, our passions took a different turn and now some of us, are switching to arts based courses, including me-self.haha.

Went out with a bunch of my buddies just this Tuesday. ;)
Meeting point : Pavilion,KL

I was the earliest to arrive..haha..cuz i had to meet up with a customer for Cash on Delivery(for my-eboutique)..but in the end, i was ffked. swt.

So i waited till Nien and the rest arrived..Meanwhile, as usual, i did some shopping at Forever 21. Weirdly enough, i didnt quite see any dresses i fancied. But i bought a gold chain necklace with lock& key, as well as a thick gold bangle. The Egyptian-looking kinds.LOL.
Am very into gold these days~

We went to Pizza Hut for our lunch. After all of us couldn't decide where to eat..we landed here. XD

Mua, Hwa Lin,and Ah Teng @ the queen of laughters

Candid.
Jingyi,Pei Gin and Nien.
Pei Gin had a new haircut. Haha.A very innovative one indeed. Cuteee =p

Wow..we sapu-ed all the pizzas!

One big happy family.hehe.
The 6 of us, minus Choi Sine, who had to leave earlier as her lunch break was over.

Hwa Lin, the one who is leaving. ><
will miss you gal..make sure you come back every now and then!

*
*
*
*

Nien was the photographer.
Lurve the yellow-gold background.
Im in a gold kinda frenzy!
Weird.

When it was finally time to bid each other farewell, it was a tough one indeed..As we all knew, after this, we wouldn't be seeing each other that often anymore. Especially when uni starts.
Moreover, some of us are going outstation for education's sake.
Wut to do right..i guess its part and parcel of life. Even Pei Gin is most prolly going to AIMST in Kedah for Dentistry. sobs.
Whats left of us who are stucked in Kei Elle?

But to be honest, i'd prefer being in KL. haha. Call me a city snob if you want, but i prefer the hustle and bustle of the city most of the time. ;)
Oh, and of course, the shopping involved!
muahahaha

Random.
Psst. Am cropping my hair soon.
Can't wait!!!

14th May @ the Cave

Went to the Cave again on the 14th this month.;)
Second time.
The first was on the 14th January this year.hehe.

14th.
A very special date for Josh and I. (=

In the afternoon, i went to KLCC cuz i had to do a COD (cash on delivery) with a Dr.Pizzicato's customer. Josh was supposed to go together with me but he had last minute college commitments so he couldn't make it. After the COD, i went walking around cuz it was a long time ago since i went to KLCC.
Its really a very cosy place to be in. Just like Pavilion.;)
Not too crowded and conjested...or smoke-filled like...Sg.Wang?

My feet started hurting due to the studded wedges..it was slicing the back of my feet.=(
With every step, it got worse.
Limping, i went to Guardian to get plasters.
Had to get it fast before the wound got deeper.

Felt much better after sticking them on! hehe
Then off i went to Topshop,GAP, Zara..where else? urh..i forgot.
Anyhoo, i ended up buying a really, really awesome pair of Baxter skinny jeans from Topshop. Oh, and a Petite range UK 4 white tank top. ;) and and...a black faux leather wallet for someone. ;p

Me just loveee how the skinny jeans hugs every curves to perfection.
I must say its even better than my Levi's Slim Fit. Although i do love my Levi's lots.
Hopefully, i'll be able to wear these for a long long time..=)
Jeans are always good&worthwhile investments. Cuz i don't think they'll be going in and out of season like most trends.
If you take good care of em jeans, you can even wear it up to 10 years or more.
And one will always be needing a good jeans for lazy casual days especially.haha.

Me heart skinnies! =D

Later on, Josh picked me up from Masjid Jamek station and we went on a mini road trip sort of thing...
Stopped by Tropicana City Mall
Nothing much there though.Prolly cuz they opened at a time when the economic meltdown hit?
But yay! We managed to get Subway sandwiches! wahaha

And the Sub of the day was our favs too--- Turkey ham &breast.
I'm totally addicted to Subway now!
And did i forget to mention, Krispy Kreme orginal glazed doughnuts?!!
arggh.
Why are there so many sweet temptations? =/
And they just have to get me hooked when im trying not to spend so much on things that will eventually go into the toilet bowl.

Second stop: Gelato Fruity ice cream kiosk

We had rum and raisins and After 8 chocolate mint flavoured ice creams!
wa wa wa..really bloated already larh....
Why so many yummy food one?
Gotta resist temptations!
Failed miserably.
Was too bloated to walk normally...so we took a slow stroll to the carpark...HAHA

And finally, we arrived at the Cave around 7++ pm. =)

Tadah!
oops.
Didnt take any pics of the Cave cuz i already took loadsss the previous time.

Random shot.
What are you doing hiding there??

Josh browsing thru the menu.
Must be thinking '' Crap. This is burning a hole in my wallet.Again.''
XD
After the Cave did some mini renovations, the prices of their food really hiked up quite a bit.

Happy people. =DDD

Happy happy. haha.

My gift for that someone.

Sidetrack a little...
My hair has regrowths.Pretty fast..hmm..
Can you see the 2 inch long regrowths at my scalp?
Not really visible in reality though.
All thanks to the rather natural-looking dye i had.
Blends well with the regrowths. ;)

*Look of the day*
Denim Jumpsuit from Pumpkin.
Vintage Vamp in orangey Tan from Dr.Pizzicato.
Multistudded chestnut wedges (which you can't see) from Go Jane.
White top from Roxy in Bali.
Beaded bracelets from Forever 21.
Meow meow chain necklace from my beloved mummy! haha

That's all folks..=D
Will update about my secret getaway to a hill up north, soon.
A lil break to well, breakaway from the heat spells in KL.
;)

Happy Birthday Syn Wei =)

Michelle, Kuan, the Bday princess, Pei Gin and yours truly~

We celebrated Syn Wei's birthday at Pavilion today.
Miss Meticulous has finally turned 20. ;)
A very blessed birthday to you sweets~

T'was really great!
Being able to see my beloved friends' and this time, not in uniforms..It somehow brings about a very different feeling. haha.
I guess it's cuz we have been seeing each other in uniforms for the past one and a half year. XD
It's as if we have all grown up.

Michelle and Syn Wei ..and even Kuan Nien, was looking all fit for work. Very sophisticated indeed.
As a matter of fact, Kuan Nien came directly from the primary school where he is teaching now.=) hence, the formal neck ties and all. haha.
As for Pei Gin and I, we looked..well..nice, i suppose.haha. Love how the teal dress Pei Gin was wearing fits her so well. =)
And you know something? the dress was from my e-boutique,Dr.Pizzicato. muahaha. Feel real happy to see a satisfied customer wearing clothes from my virtual store! hee hee

While waiting for their arrival..i decided to go window shopping at Topshop. My all time favourite high-street label. Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins too actually.;)
I was really spoiled for choices..there were so many quirky and vintagey dresses. And even the basic ones were to die for.
But oh well, i wasn't intending on doing some real shopping, so i only brought in one piece to try.=) *Normally i'd bring in the maximum of 5*

the minute i saw this dress, it was love at first sight.
I simply love the heart-shaped bustier and the empire cut of this dress.
Oh, and the lil' candy coloured hearts too!
They make the entire dress look so cheery! =D

Im soooo into colours these days.
Colours,colours..they totally brighten up an outfit. =)

*Notice those gladiator wedges? teehee.
Just got them this morning. ;P
They're a beauty*

Hmm!
Wud love to bring in a similar dress if i do see one like this from my supplier.
What do ya think? =))))
And it would three times cheaper. haha.

The fun in online shopping is that you get designer or high street inspired goodies for a fraction of the price. How awesome!

******

Oh, i'll be having my first offline bazaar this coming 25th. Yup, April this month.=)
It's called A Fair Weekend bazaar. Would be held in SoHo KL at Solaris, Mont Kiara. =)
And the organizers are expecting about 7000 over crowds too. Yea..its that big. =D
Am really excited bout it!
Probably will get to meet some of my customers face to face as well..hehe.. and for the experience too. =) that would be invaluable.

So if you're free on the 25th of April, which is in 2 weeks time, do come and support yea!
Gals, bring your galfrens along..and guys, bring your girlfriends.=) im sure they'll be delighted.hahaha.

There'll be something for everyone!
Live bands, battle of talents, fashion shows, incubation counselling and more. =)
Excited yet??
Keep your 25th free alritey!
