He always comes FIRST

This month has been a real busy month ..and the month of November as well..for me, but i thank God for His faithfulness throughout:

16 - 23rd November: Station of Life prayer school by Susan Tang in Sabah. One of the best things that i have ever experienced in my life! Serious.
It surpasses camps or conferences. It's just...one-of-a-kind...
I have so much to share abt this that it'll take at least 3 days for me to finish sharing what God has spoken to me and revealed thru that one week plus of spiritual ''recharging'' period. Some of you already know the full story and bits of pieces of it...Its truly, truly amazing...

7 - 9 Dec: Oversea shopping trip cum stocks-taking trip for my e-biz. Bought in loadsssss of clothes and bags. And for the very first time, i used up all the $ till the very last 2 bucks. =.=
You will understand me if you saw what i saw there. It's seriously such a wonder cuz they're so up to date with trends and prices are cheaper. :) whats not to love?

and right after that..the next morning....

10-12 Dec: Asian Pacific Youth Alive Conference (APYAC) in GTPJ where 29 different nations gathered together for one person - JESUS! =D
Psst. But i skipped the 1st day cuz i was tooooo tired from travelling..need loads of rest.
Loads on that too...Once more, God reassured and reconfirmed certain issues/lessons with me. And through this conference, i also heard His voice even sharper and clearer than before. Thank You Lord..

14 Dec: Our 47th month anniversary :))
A simple celebration.heee.

In between, there are also loads of musical prep since im in the make up and costume team.. caroling practises...etc

Seems like time just passes so quickly...and it's already mid-december. By the end of this month, i'll be returning to uni for Sem II already. sighs. Somehow i do feel like im gonna go back with a very heavy heart cuz parting is never easy..even after you think you've gotten used to it by now... but no...its still a painful thing to say goodbye. Especially after knowing that the goodbyes will be even longer in the time to come....... =(
Well, just trusting Him that if He puts me and calls me for His plans and purposes, He will surely enable me. He will give me the strength..yes, the strength......to let go and let God. Amen.

*
*
*
*

On a separate note...just felt like expressing my sincere thanks&gratitude to God for giving me good results in uni's Semester I. Very random i know, but i believe if God blesses me i shouldn't keep it to myself but give Him the due glory. Lest i unknowingly steal His glory..Plus this testimony could be an encouragement to some of you perhaps? :)

Just found out abt my results today...didnt know it was out for so long edi =.= lols
I checked online. XD

Quite surprisingly i got 3As, 1B+ and 1B-. Which is quite an accomplishment for me already. i've never really been a flying colours type of student you know... Josh is, not me. =p
And i was just so shocked that i was on the verge of crying cuz God's goodness really amazes me! Its so unexpected.....
And to top it off, i got a CGPA of 3.61 for the final accumulation..which qualifies me for the Dean's List(> 3.5) this sem. :)
Can't say how thankful am i.
It was my prayer to get above CGPA 3.5 above but never imagined it would become a reality..knowing myself...hehe

Now please dun get me wrong yea..not trying to blow my trumpet here cuz i rily have nothing to blow abt...except the very fact that God is so good and His favour surrounds us like a shield (Psalm 4:12).
And once more, Matthew 6: 33 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto You' is made manifest.
God really means it when He tells us that when we put Him first, He will surely bless everything else we do!
Our studies/work, businesses, family, relationships, etc. Cuz these things are literally 'all these things' that will be added unto us. =D How awesome is that promise!

So when you are torn between studying for exams and going for cell group when the next day is your exam..then remember that God is ever faithful. Sometimes you might not get immediate results or you might not even do as well as some of your friends. But God will reward you accordingly. Know that God is a fair and just God. :))

I can testify to this because the day before my Management paper was Sunday. And my service in Batu Pahat requires me to spend 7 am - 4pm + in church..and the journey back and forth. So most of my time to study would have been ''used up'' by then. When frenz are busy mugging, im singing songs and praying and even fellowshipping? lol.

It would seem like its a such a contradictory action but aren't we all called to live life that is opposite to the standards of the world? :)
Even Jesus lived so differently that He stood out among the people so much so that the teachers of the law wanted to stone Him because they couldn't accept His difference although He was really just doing the will of the Father. He was blameless ina ll His way and conduct.

And honestly i wasnt even half way thru the studying by 9pm and exam was in the morning but by God's grace the end result was a cgpa of 4.00 for that sub. Not by my intelligence..nope, certainly not..but only because i chose to put God first.
It's really simple. :)

Too many a times we choose to use our own efforts and ways and means to achieve results but we forget to lean on the God with whom all things are possible!
Now, im not trying to imply you shouldnt study hard yea... You must also so your part but surrender and leave the rest to God.

And always remember that whatever the outcome is, give thanks! In all circumstances give thanks! :) try not to compare..hehe..although i have this tendency to. Know that whether ur result is good, bad, very good or not bad...God's glory can still be manifested in your life!
Well, i had my share of verrrry bad results too....:p
Not many of you know that i failed a subject in STPM eh...haha... It's impossible by human means to enter a local uni if you fail even a subject....but.........this is all for the sake of lifting up His name!
I used to be very apprehensive abt sharing this embarrassing thing.. but like i said earlier..if God blesses me...its not right that i shud keep it...Cuz then His purpose for this would not be accomplished isn't it? (:

Well, thats all fer now....
Just a sudden inspiration..typed almost without stopping....
Remember Matt 6:33. :)

If you doubt that miracles happen, read this.

If you have ever doubt that God hears even the slightest whispers in your heart, or if you wondered how a great God could have enough time for YOU when He obviously has so many other important things to take care of, then i would like to dedicate this post to you.

And if u don't think God is real; let alone exist..and that miracles are only a fabrication..then all the more, i would want you to read this. ;)

All that i'm about to share is based on my recent life experiences.
And these testimonies seek only to glorify the Lord Jesus!
He must increase, i must decrease.

Please take time to read this if you will...This is worth your time =))

And God has revealed to me thru these experiences that He still does great miracles today! Miracles are definitely NOT a thing of the past. God is the same today, tomorrow and forevermore. And if He performed signs and wonders thousands of years ago, rest assured, He still does them in our generation today! Praise the Lord =D

Episode 1: The Bus Incident

If you read my blog post previously, you would find out that God really cares about even the littlest things in your life. Things which you reckon are insignificant...He still does care.
The same thing happened last week.

And this time, it also seemed like the driver wasn't going to stop for a toilet break. Gosh..i was getting a lil worried cuz this time, my bladder was reaaaally reaally full. Any more delays and i will not be able to hold it much longer.

Then, i asked the Lord, 'God..how....i seriously can't stand for another half an hour...let alone 1 hour...' ( there was still abt 1 hour+ for the journey)

And then i heard the Holy Spirit reminding me gently about what God has told me previously that He will indeed take care of everything. All i need to do is trust and believe.
And so...i just believed. Eventhough in the natural human state of mind..especially when u're in a dire situation, its really hard to let go and trust God right?

I kept telling myself and the Lord that i will believe Him for the bus to stop.Real soon.
Cuz seriously, this time was really at an emergency state already! haha
And then the miracle happened.

The bus slowed down and came to a stop.
Can you imagine my estatic-ness?!
I was literally dumbfounded by His great work. For the second time.
I almost cried with joy but all i could do way smile all the way down to the washroom... amazed and in awe of the greatness of Jesus.
Seriously, the Lord is a great God. All glory to Him!

Episode 2: The Sandwich incident

Usually Josh would get me some food to eat once i reach puduraya. Since i am food-less for 3-4 hours in the bus and i can't really eat anything either, cuz if i do eat, i will need to drink. And even jz a lil bit of water will make me wanna go to the loo.
My storage system is really tiny i think. o.o

Feeling pretty famished since i was rushing back for Josh's convocation de next morning, i didnt have time for dinner.
And at the same time, i was craving for Italian BMT from Subway! The best sandwiches ever! ;)
So Josh left house real early( an hour before my time of arrival) to drive to Pavilion to get Subway for me. How sweet of him..=)
thank you dearest for going the extra mile. =)

But here's when the testing came.

He met with a massive traffic jam near the bukit bintang area and was stucked.....took him a real loooong time to get to Pavilion. And that time was already around 10.20pm.
And so he sms-ed me to tell me he most likely wouldn't be able to get the sandwich. I was devastated. =/
Cuz i really felt like having the BMT today....plus i was starving...huhu

Then i had this sudden inclination and i replied, 'Dear.. lets pray and believe that God will keep the store opened for us! '
And so we masing-masing prayed. =)
Me in the bus, he in his car.

When he finally reached Pavilion, it was roughly 10:4opm already.
Took us great faith to believe that it will still be opened.
I can imagine him running all the way to the subway store to get my sandwich.
Here's the funny part! =)
When he went to subway, the store was opened. Praise the Lord!
But when he asked the counter they said, 'Sorry sir..we're not operating anymore...'
Meaning, sudah mau tutup kedai. =.='

...................
LOL.

I was so amazed cuz God is seriously such a humourous God!
Yes, He answered our prayer specifically the way we asked.
We asked for the store to be opened and we got it.
What we forgot to pray is for the store to be opened and to be still operating its business!!
Hahaha.

So this is what Josh did next.
He decided to run all the way to the other Subway store. The nearest was along the BB street. Quite far actually.
But to him, there's no harm in trying. ;)
thanks once again dear

Then this time, we both prayed that it will be opened AND will be operating. haha.
And i waited in anticipation for his good news. XD
Now, the time was already around 11pm....and most shops would have been closed by now..
Really a testing of one's faith.
When he reached there..wow.....He miraculously managed to get the Italian BMT sandwich!
Wooot!
Praise You Jesus!
Indeed, the Lord took care of even this little craving of mine.
thank you so so much Lord.

Episode 3: The Drilling

I've shared this with some of my friends and my CG members in johor before..It occurred abt few weeks ago.=)

This one IS really a miracle.

My neighbours, both the left and right one, has been doing some drilling work for their house renovations for the past few months. I'm telling you, it can get sooo annoying cuz the drillings are just above your head and beside your ears.
And it goes on from 9-5pm. ><
I had an assignment due very soon and i was determined to finish it the next morning itself.
But then again, how was i going to do my assignment in a day with all those crazy drilling going on?

Then i had this idea...why don't i pray for the drilling to stop for even just a day?
Hmm...yea..this is definitely workable i said to myself.
So i said a simple prayer the night before.

Come next morning, mum told me the neighbours said drilling wud start at 10.30. I waited till 10.30 to see if it would start or not. Cuz after this time has passed, then i can be pretty sure the ''danger zone'' is settled and there would prolly be no drilling after that.hehe.
My bro and mum was sitting opposite me on the breakfast table, and when i told them boldly that there would be no drilling, i could see that they were half skeptical, half believing. haha.
It's only natural rite =)

And right after i uttered those words, the drilling started! That was 10:40am.
Boy, it was as if the Lord was testing my faith.
And i have to admit..my faith wavered quite a bit...and doubt crept in.
But i reminded myself that i really, truly have to believe God for that miracle.

So i said to my bro and mum this time, 'Believe me...it WILL stop. I believe it will.'
And i remember my bro laughed at my statement. haha.
But guess what?
Around 10 minutes later--- It stopped.
Yes, the drilling stopped.
And for the entire day after that, there was no drilling at all.
Only an occasional sound i heard..but that was it.
No thunderous and annoying drilling.
Only peace and quietness. =)

Can you not be amazed at the Lord when He does such great things before your very eyes?
Surely, the Lord can do for you what He did for me!
You just have to believe.

Even my parents and bro was shocked at what happened.
I was still in a state of awe.
And the next morning, the drillings went back as per usual.
Wow.
Jesus is real and alive!
I told one of my roomie, 'Don't be afraid to test God. He will answer you if you'd just believe...'
Remember that my friends.

Amen!

Phew..can't believe i've typed so much...there's still two episodes to go. Both of which jz happened this week itself.
Prolly i'll blog abt it in the next post.;)

But here's another testimony to glorify the Lord.
It's really not by my own might but by His grace and favour that i managed to attain the highest marks for a mid term paper in my faculty, consisting of BPA and BPB students for one of my course this sem,Principles of Management.
(I'm from BPA by the way...which stands for pure technology management students)

Thank you Lord for that blessing cuz i really don't deserve it...but only by your favour Lord.
And I'm reminded of Matthew 6:33..that when you put God first in your life, He will not cease to bless you abundantly! Really one.

And in fact, my marks of 92% only has a difference of 1 mark compared to the other two students who both got 91%.
Hmm..its true that one mark makes alot of difference...;)

Once again, thank you Lord. =)
I can never thank You enough.

Dear friends, if you would like to experience the power and real-ness of Jesus like i did,let me encourage you to do so by just saying this simple prayer:
It only takes 2 minutes. =))

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.

I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend.

I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let me experience your love and grace and real-ness in my life God. Take away every unbelief and doubt in me.

In Jesus name,

Amen.

Return to Your First Love! (continued from previous post)

This post is continued from the previous one. ;) It may be slightly longer than usual. But this post shares one of the most significant happenings in my life from the beginning of the year till now,Oct 12. =)
And if you are a believer, then all the more you should read this yea..=) Forgive me if i sound a lil harsh at some point, but know that i'm just saying whatever that needs to be said..=)
Like i mentioned earlier, sharing the gospel with others is not an easy task. At least for most of us. Agree much?
I guess for many of us, the great desire to reach out isn't even present in our lives..nor is there a burning desire to see our relatives and friends get saved. Therefore, naturally, the thought of reaching out doesn't even exist.

At least, not until God gives you a wake up call like He did for me.

Have you ever wondered why pastors and missionaries are so passionate about sharing the gospel in whatever opportunity they can get? Or have you seen some of your believing friends who are always so eager to invite others to CF or churches?
and yet...wondered why you couldn't care less....?

First and foremost, it is because we have become too preoccupied with our daily lives and daily routine that instead of putting God first, we put Him second, or third or for some of us, last.
But remember this, God said He will bless us abundantly and everything, including our studies, family, relationships, etc will fall perfectly into place when we seek Him FIRST! =) Matthew 6:33

I have to say this one thing, which i've learnt recently eversince i was sent to johor, about sharing the gospel with others-- it requires a lot of love.
Both love for the Lord and for the people around us.
Love is the key that prompts you and stirs you to share the gospel even when there are better things to do.. like, studying for the coming test.
~1 Corinthians 13:13 '...But the greatest of these is love'

Without Love for the Lord, you cannot love others enough to want to tell them about this great God who carries all our burdens and who loved me and you so so much that He even sacrificed His One and Only Son to be the atonement for our sins. And without a genuine love for the people around us, how can we even begin to say we love God, whom we cannot see with our naked eyes?

*
*
*

I have to admit, the last time i truly opened my mouth to share the good news/ The gospel was like...5 yrs ago? After PMR. That, i truly remember, because i know i really prayed hard for that friend of mine to be saved and i kept rehearsing how to share the love of the gospel properly so that i won't miss out anything important.
My friend was saved. PTL! =) But again, i know that it is the dear Holy Spirit who convicts a person. Not our words or skills..but it is Him..the Holy Spirit =)

And during my form 6 years(2007-2008)..there was once or twice..i remember..=) but i wouldn't say those were planned. There were opportunites, so i just did as i felt lead by the Holy Spirit. And i thank God i did, cuz the fruits of the labor are now attending church regularly, and one, has been a great encouragement to me. Even going to extent of winning many souls for Christ's kingdom!
Indeed, he is the seed that fell on good soil and came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown. Luke 8:8

Indeed, he has been a great encouragement to my spiritual walk. Keep up the great work. You know who you are! =D And know that our labor in the Lord will never be in vain! (1 cOR 15:58) Amen.

Eversince i came to Johor, i've changed quite a bit. For the better. =) Even in just a span of 4 months.
I've learnt to appreciate the simpler things in life. You know..the people here are so contented with the little they have...like my roommates..That taught me alot.
Coming from a city like KL, i really had a major culture shock when i first arrived. I complained alot about why i had to be sent to such an obscure place...with
dead shopping malls,
dirty environments,
bathing with cold water daily,
having to wash my own clothes..do the laundry...
hang the clothes...tidy my bed...
And eating the same old food everyday till i literally fell ill.
Name me all the mamak food and i can tell u i've eaten most of them. Since there's only one mamak stall opposite my hostel. haha.

You know, i've been so used to being pampered at home by my maid that i really felt homesick when i first arrived here..no doubt i cried myself to sleep....
But now, i must say life is not only better, it is pretty awesome now! haha
The Lord has been really faithful. And when He says He will never leave you nor forsake you..He mean it. =D

Oh, and dining with cats jumping on your chair and table is a norm already.(the cats here are wayyyy aggresive! I have this theory that the cats in Johor are so malnourished and underfed that their defense mechanism in order to survive is to launch attacks on humans while we are trying to eat the already hard-to-swallow-food. hahaha. Its madness i tell you. I have never seen such a cat in KL before! )

It still makes me terriffied though. =.=
But i think after 3 years, i can wine and dine with them peacefully already...0.0
Who knows we might even be allies? *rolls eyes*

*
*
*

WOW..i realized im getting a lil sidetracked. Back to main issue. ;)
One of the greatest things that has happened eversince i came here is--- the restoration of my first love towards Jesus my Lord and saviour. =))

It's a good thing the wifi connection is slow..there's no tv here.. no distractions... just a simple kampung lifestyle....
uz this very point has led me to spend more time sitting at the feet of Jesus just like Mary did. And not just go around being busy with ministry and service like Martha. Although what she did was also good. But we must learn to breakaway from our ministries burden and load...surrender it to Jesus and 'come, sit at my feet and fellowship with Me.'

For this is the very heart cry of God for all of us. Because so many of us are so worn out with everyday burdens and we carry too much heavy loads & these are the very things..the cares of the world, that hinders us from spending quality time with the lord.
By the time we want to spend time with the Lord, we are either too tired, lazy or overwhelmed. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Although, it is the King of Kings' hearts desire to spend time with me and you,Yet, we fail to give Him even a lil time of ours. Say, the President of USA, Barack Obama tells you ' I need a few minutes of your time..'
Now, wouldn't you do whatever it takes to have that little time with him?
No matter how busy you are you will still take time off for him.
And now, the King above all the kings and The Lord above all the lords and the God of the heavens and the earth wants to fellowship with you. What will you say to Him?
He is waiting and waiting, patiently and eagerly, for us to commune with Him. But instead, we are hooked to the comp..to the tv..to even our studies...the many other things which should come after the Lord.
Oh, how it must have grieved the Spirit of the Lord when we did not put Him first!
If the Lord is speaking to you now...if you feel an unusual sensation in your heart..then please, respond and repent, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit anymore my dear friends.
For the Lord loves us so much that He desires of our hearts and our time...
Isn't it our great privilege and blessing that we mere humans would be called the sons and daughters of the Most High God?
Who am i that i should deserve of your attention Lord?
that you would even know the days fashioned for me? and even the numbers of hair on my head Lord, you know. =)
Pray this prayer of repentance dear beloved of God:
Father God, today, i repent of my wrongdoings..i repent for not spending enough time with You Lord. Forgive me Lord for forsaking my first love and letting the things of the world take Your place. Even now, i seek your grace and mercy. Do not turn your back on me anymore Lord...but rather, let your face shine upon me.I am reminded Lord of your unconditional love and sacrifice for me on the cross of Calvary, which bore my sins, shame and iniquities. And i ask that you refresh my Spirit and renew the covenant i once had with you Lord.Help me draw near to You Lord even as you draw near to me.
Thank You Father. In Jesus name, Amen.

You've gotta know this.

Just wanna thank the Lord once again for His everlasting faithfulness.
Indeed, He is and always will be, the El Shaddai, the All Sufficient God. The One who is More than Enough for us.

I still remember that day when Josh told me how sad and depressed he was...he had had a very rough week indeed.
One, his car was saman-ed by DBKL.
Two, his car got clamped at McD.
Lastly, he lost his Final Year Project just when the due date was the following week!

Anyone could have been in despair if they were in his shoes.

We were supposed to go for CG that night when he told me about what happened. The lost of his FYP was the final blow.
Right after that, he totally lost the mood to do anything. Just wanted to sleep it off in hopes that this will all be just a bad dream.
But i knew that the best thing to do in such circumstances was to go for CG. Cuz when you take your focus off yourself, somehow it helps you feel slightly more relieved. It give you less time to dwell on the state of your own problems.

And as if to challenge our faith and perseverance, the rain started pouring so heavily that we got stucked in a jam while on the way to Ee Yan's place.
But i knew in my heart that God would honour our deeds~

Finally arrived there at almost half an hour later. oops!
We had discussions about Contemporary issues such as abortion, test tube babies, etc.
I was really enjoying the discussion.hehe. But i could also sense that he was so worn out and upset that he wasn't even paying attention to the discussions.

Fast forward to 2 hours later,
he sent me home. But right before i got down, as promised, i said i would wanna pray with him about the whole matter.
Cuz the Bible says, 'Where two or three are gathered in My name, there I will be in their midst.'

So i prayed that God would increase our faith and that the project would be found the next day, which was Saturday.
By the way, Josh's project was due on Monday!
We only had 2 days to find it. And he hasn't even completed the project. Talk about anxiety.

We all know in human abilities this would have been impossible. But His Word says, ''What is impossible with man is possible with God''.
Luke 18:27
We just have to believe it!
Remember, God said, even if you have faith of a mustard seed, you WILL be able to move mountains. As in, physical mountains like Mount Everest okay.
And mustard seeds are really the tiniest seeds ever. They are as small as a fullstop.
Yes, like this,
.
.
.
See how tiny they are? (yes, i've seen those seeds.)

And God didn't say 'You might' or 'You probably can', but He said, You WILL.
And when God says something, He never, i repeat, never goes back on His words.
His words will not return to Him void.

*******

And so after praying, we could only trust God for the best. And just totally and wholly believe we would be able to find it. For without Faith, it is impossible to please God.

And guess what?
The next morning, Josh texted me to say that his friend, Tham had found his project back in college!
Miracle miracle!

I was working at Starbucks that time, and was reading a book cuz i was so free.. But when i read that sms, i was so elated that tears began to flow.
I must have been deemed a lil crazy but i didn't care. Cuz once again, God has proved His faithfulness.
I just couldn't help praising Him there and then! ( i dunno where my manager went that time..but surprisingly, as if in God's perfect timing, he wasn't anywhere near me.)
Cuz if he saw me with tears in my eyes, that might have worried him.haha.

Just wanna praise God wholeheartedly.
The Lord reemphasizes to me that He is indeed a prayer answering God.
He always is. Eventhough He might seem to be distant at times, but He is attentive to even the slightest whispers.

*****

On a separate note,
just wanna praise God for healing my migraine today! yay!
I only vomited once.
Normally it would linger for the whole day...with vomits in between. And my head would fell like it was going to burst out of the excruciating pain. But thank the Lord, after praying and acting on His scriptures about healing, i was healed even during work itself.
But i still came back early to rest. =)

God bless ya'all!
Taste and discover for yourself that the Lord is GOOD.
God is not a respecter of persons.
So if He can do it for Josh and me,
He can too, for YOU. =)

Unexpected Blessings

God has been really good to me. It's really more than i could ever ask for.

If you've read my previous post about losing my barely-a-year-old Sony Ericsson phone, you would probably know how devastated i was. And the fact that i didn't know how i lost it makes it even more bizarre. Not to mention it's the second phone i lost. =/
But sob stories aside, i just wanna express my joy and thankfulness towards the Lord for giving me a brand new phone just last Friday. =)

I still remember i said this prayer ''Lord, you know how i feel about the lost of my phone..only you know the pain..cuz it's the 2nd time already. And i don't expect mum or dad to get me one.(cuz i know it's time i became responsible for my own actions, whether or not i am in fault)
Right now i just wanna ask that you'll bless me with a brand new phone,Lord. Send a Good Samaritan to bless me Lord i pray. Cuz i really can't afford to come out with another 600bucks or more.. It's just too much for me to bear after the lost of my first phone barely a year ago...very
em se tak..''

Yup, i prayed something like that.
And i knew God heard me loud and clear.

Cuz a few days after that..or like..almost a week.. Josh presented me with a K660i Sony Ericsson. It was like rekindling my lost baby.. Cuz he got me the exact same one.
He knew i didn't like any other except K660i..and it was also the most affordable SE phone among others.
It's sleek,and slim.
Has multiple functions and most importantly, has good quality images! nyehehehe

I kinda knew he was getting me a phone already..and i insisted that i got it myself..since im working and earning thru my e-biz right?
It just didn't feel right to obtain something so pricey from someone else.
I think you guys get what i mean right?
Not something that costs more than half a K......

But all he did was hushed me and told me to just say 'thank you' and accept the gift with an open heart. Haha. Like i have a choice not to keep quiet after that....=P
Trust me, i said 'No' too many times until i think he got fed up? (were you bay?^^)

But all i can say is, i'm really happy and content with my phone. I know it might be a lil' weird to want the same phone when you can explore others..but i guess it's just me.=)
I simply love it~

I just wanna really thank the Lord for answering my prayer.
It's a blessing, and an unexpected one.
I was expecting a phone, but not from the person who gave it to me. =D

But God always works in mysterious ways. His ways are indeed higher than our ways. Praise Him for that. If everything worked according to our plans, then it might not have turned out as well. God knows BEST.

Thank you Jesus.
Thank you Josh dear. =)
I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

Prom Goes Green 2009

*****

On a separate note, here are the updates on my colourful life! haha

- Went to 3K inn bazaar at Subang Jaya with Laura Tang! =D
We make an unlikely pair but we do share a lot in common. Especially our penchant for fashion and shopping! haha
And i must say it was my privilege to go out with her on her birthday! (on the 20th last Saturday)
Happy Belated Birthday dearest Laura~
I didn't know it was her birthday till she told me in the car.

And right here, i wanna take the Lord again for having his favour to surround us like a shield! (Psalm 4:12)
Cuz we got stopped by a traffic police who hinted twice that he wanted a bribe from us in order to let us go...But to cut the long story short, everything worked in our favour (including the fact that it was Laura's bday that day!) and we were released without an RM 300 saman nor with bribing. (Which would have been an easy way out but we know bribing is wrong.)
In most cases, this would have been near impossible, but by God's grace, the officer really let us go!
What a miracle!
I knew i had to testify about this.=D

It just reminds that when we're faithful to the Lord, His hands will always be upon us~

- Went for KBU's Prom 2009. Josh's final prom as he is graduating this May/June. =)
Really had tons of fun fellowshipping especially. Although i knew no one there except his friends.haha.
Prom goes GREEN this year, in support of mother earth. =)
Surprisingly no one wore green dresses.

I wore a bright purple mermaid-pleated dress from my e-boutique,
Dr.Pizzicato =) *click click*

Love it to bits!
Somehow..these days.. im really into bright candy colours such as emerald, hot pink, turquoise, lime, chilli red, and of course oh-so-glam purple!
But classic B&W never fails. =) not to mention white has always been my fav.hehe. Makes one look so ethereal and innocent.=)

Love the pleated designs.
And the best part, it doesn't cost a bomb like Valentino gowns. *wink*

Finally got my own camera =P

I'm really delighted right now.=)

Because i know i've been desiring for a camera for so long...i think eversince i discovered the ''art'' of camwhoring and taking photos whenever i see something that captures my imagination. The last part was exaggeration.haha.

Simply put, i love taking photos. =)))

And somehow, i believe that taking photos is important cuz it will be a memoir for me many years down the road..At least i know how i look like and what hairstyles i had before,etc....(Talking bout hairstyles, i've just had a makeover! Pictures might be up soon.haha.) To see the changes in all my friends and family years after...the thought of it is just so warm and fuzzy. =D

And all the sweet memories with my loved ones can be brought back to life simply by looking at the photos.=)

Right now, i'm just bubbling with joy..not just because of the camera but it's because i know God has been so faithful to me. I know i'm diverting a bit..but just hear me out yea. God knows how loooong i've wanted this Canon Ixus camera.... i wanted an electric blue, and 70 IS was good enough. Haha. I just wanted a digital compact cam so desperately! (Taking photos with my hp was fine..but it frustrates me when i can't get clear pictures.)

So my plan was to work and then use my own salary to get this camera. Well and good i thought. By the way, i just got a job at Starbucks! come visit! =)

But who would've known God would bless me with the camera of my dreams from Daddy. I have to thank my mum too, cuz she was the one who told dad about my passion for photography.Haha.

I just can't begin to think about how absolutely good the Lord is. He sees the desires of your heart and begins to work in wonderful ways..just to make u happy. =) Of course, the desire of your heart should be parallel to His will for your life.

But the last thing i would imagine was to get something like a camera from dad, cuz my whole family knows how thrifty he is. His favourite quote is, ''I am a very practical person..i don't mind spending money on things that are truly necessary.'' And camera is not exactly a necessary thing in his list. haha.

Sometimes, getting 10bucks alone from dad is so difficult cuz he believes in investing for the long term by purchasing properties instead of a momentary splurge on cars, clothes, furnitures,etc...those of which he says are liabilities instead of assets ( since they don't generate income for you) Which is actually very true. Even houses are liabilties you know? Whatever that sits there and does not generate income for you IS a liabilty already.
Err..sidetracked again..sorry..haha..im getting so business-y nowadays. Im actually wondering if i should take up business course..hmm..Still have to pray about it.

So, as you can see..i was just so happy when he presented the camera to me on saturday night. And its double the blessings cuz i got an 80 IS instead of 70. =D
Just wanna thank the Lord soooooooo much for everything.
He has truly blessed me with so much..like a song that goes..''So much, i can't contain it, so much, i've gotta give it away...''
Remember that we can never ever ever outgive God. So lets be generous with our offerings and tithes!

~ The cam is actually pink! but due to the lighting it looks more silver than pink. ~

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
